The Utopia is located on the ground floor of our Church Suite residence. On arrival to our suites, you’ll find our suites are tucked quietly in the heart of Bowness on Windermere. They’re also located just a minute’s walk from Bowness Bay and stunning & picturesque views of Lake Windermere.
Our Church Suite guests also receive complimentary car parking, just a couple of minute’s walk at our main hotel building.

“I didn’t want to leave. The hotel is lovely and on arrival we were greeted like long lost friends by the very nice receptionist even though it was our first time. The suite Utopia was amazing, everything has been beautifully done in this room, comfort galore and nothing has been scrimped on from the complimentary bar, tassimo coffee machine and lovely toiletries. All in all a fab place in the most luxurious surroundings possible, I cannot praise it highly enough, a hotel that puts its customers first and provides them with an experience they will never forget. “Stayed in the Utopia suite for a special birthday. Check in was friendly & efficient. Room was gorgeous. Very modern with loads of tech… Bathroom was the highlight of our stay. Spa Bath was huge with a massive TV and a lovely spacious walk-in shower. Very comfy bed, lovely linen, very quiet. Slept like a log. Lovely time was had and it certainly felt like a special treat.

“We stayed as a couple in the Utopia Suite. The church suite rooms definitely have a wow factor with all lights and tv being operated from an iPad. Decent size room without being massive – the bathroom is really the feature here. Massive wet room with sunken Jacuzzi bath for 2. Wow. Service impeccable and no real issues at all. Everything you can think of is provided, including ear blockers! Dyson fan in the cupboard and iron/ ironing board. Mini bar with drinks was included – nice array of contents including ice, lemon an lime. Would highly recommend. The owners have got this nailed on at the hotel and restaurants for ambience and service “

Stopped at the Cranleigh in the Utopia Suite, for 2 nights for my birthday surprise! I couldn’t fault it in anyway, absolutely beautiful. As soon as you go through the doors you feel welcome & the staff are really helpful and smiley & helped with any inquiries we had. The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom was absolutely perfect! The little touches of the Buddhas & the duck were great! I honestly couldn’t fault the room or the staff in anyway, the spa passes were the icing on that cake, definitely worth the money & I can’t wait to return. I would recommend everyone to try this place! Oh and of course I couldn’t forget to mention the complimentary mini bar! Amazing stay xx
I booked the Church Suites for my husbands 50th Birthday. We stayed in the Utopia Suite…one word “WOW”! It was amazing, attention to detail being key.
