We are a luxury multi-site accommodation provider in the heart of the Lake District. Offering a host of individually unique rooms, suites, self-catering and off-site facilities. Established since 2007 and recognised through numerous awards as a romantic and next level boutique collection we believe we should be top of your list when booking a stay in Bowness on Windermere.

It all started with our first site the Cranleigh Boutique Hotel which has 14 bedrooms and 4 suites, and we have grown from there. We quickly opened a self-catering property called ‘The Hideout House‘, perfect for a couples getaway. From here, we opened ‘The Church Suites‘, 4 next-generation suites, featuring 5-star facilities. Our latest challenge has been The Bon Vivant Smart Villa, a 6-star self-catering holiday let, with outdoor hot tub sat in its own private grounds, designed to sleep, 6 people in three double en-suite rooms.

Parking

We offer parking at the Cranleigh Hotel itself with a private overflow car park as well. The Hideout House and Bon Vivant have their own designated parking.

Lake District Break

We booked this in the New Year, as a little treat. We weren’t disappointed. We were offered an upgrade, for a good price, the night before our stay, and I’m so glad we took it. The suite was lovely. Spacious, clean and luxurious. The bed was so comfortable. The location is great, just a short walk to the lake and restaurants/bars. We could have used the spa, which we were intending to, but with the current climate and social distancing, we decided not to. Breakfast was delivered to our suite at an agreed time-which was lovely. Looking forward to booking again.

Very close to the town. The rooms are great, one if the best night sleep I have ever had in a hotel. The breakfast was fantastic, very well cooked. The best thing is the staff. So friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Can’t recommend this place enough. One consideration, there is no bar although the closest bar is a three minute walk.
