For those who love a tipple, you’ll be delighted to know the Lake District has it’s very own brewery! At Hawkshead Brewery, they make the sort of beer we like to drink – distinctive, full of flavour, handmade, crafted, bold, personal and made by people who LOVE BEER for people who love beer.
Starting in 2002 at an old barn in Hawkshead, they are small enough to know most of our customers, but big enough to employ a team of five brewers, make around 140 barrels (23,000 litres) of beer a week, deliver direct throughout The North, and have a bar open every day, at the brewery.
So during your next visit to the Lake District, why not pop in, take a tour of the brewery, discover your favourite tipple and bring a case of your favourite ale home?
