The Lake District National Park is a beautiful place to visit all year round, and February is no exception. Dove Cottage, Grasmere

Langdale Pikes, Great Langdale

hey may be the most recognisable pikes in the Lake District, but they’re deservedly the most popular too.

From afar, the Langdale Pikes may appear to appeal to more experienced climbers rather than your average walker, but don’t be fooled. These beautiful fells are not as steep as you might think, and the average 5-mile walk takes around 3-4 hours. However, there are slightly more difficult routes, should you wish to rise to the challenge.

No visit to the Lake District is complete without experience a walk such as this one. Expect to see hypnotizing bodies of water, pools and waterfalls.

BAHA Lounge Bar: February 24th – Paper Cranes (Acoustic)


Paper Cranes have garnered their reputation over years of hard work and dedication, steadily gaining interest around Cumbria’s music scene and beyond.

The airy, vivid and grounded music derives from the backbone duo with their debut EP ‘Black Mist’. Recent light has propelled the band into their apex, as the expansion of new members add new layers of electric guitar and a technical rhythm section as well as enveloping the ethereal music with three-part harmonies.

Highlights over their career this far include playing alongside bands such as Ocean Colour Scene, Nizlopi and Little Comets; played renowned festivals like Kendal Calling, Beathearder, Edinburgh Fringe, Solfest and many local festivals as well as features on the likes of BBC Introducing and Lakeland Radio.
