“We stayed at the Cranleigh for 1 night in the Escape Suite. I must say it was a very impressive room! Double rain showers, jacuzzi bath with TV and underfloor heating in the bathroom. Beautiful robes and a well-stocked complimentary minibar and a box of chocolates on our arrival. Netflix / Amazon Prime and WiFi all included if you fancy a night in. “Me and my husband stayed in the Escape Suite for two nights as we celebrated our 30th Anniversary. We arrived early and were warmly welcomed by the Receptionist. We received our free voucher for afternoon tea for two at the nearby Fizzy Tarte and headed out. We were kindly shown to our room even in the rain. WOW it was fantastic. So luxurious. There was a bottle of prosecco waiting for us and rose petals on the bed. Could not fault it. Breakfast was included and this was really nice. An excellent way to start your day. Me and my wife spent a night in the Escape Suite at the Cranleigh. Check in was brilliant and very welcoming. The staff were very friendly. We had the Wintermacy offer which included a bottle of champagne on arrival, a small box of chocolates and rose petals on the bed. We had breakfast delivered to our room in the morning which was delicious. We got to choose both a continental and hot option with hot and cold drinks.
The main TV is a large smart TV so has access to youtube and Netflix which we found useful.
The room also came with free access to the Burnside Spa which is literally a 2 minute walk. Access to this was easy and was nice to have. It was a treat to have a prosecco in the hot tub.
The hotel is very centrally located, just a few minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and lake.
We had a brilliant relaxing time and we already can’t wait to visit the Cranleigh again in future.
This is the First time we have stayed at the Cranleigh Hotel, we stayed in the Escape Suite. The Hotel is amazing and the room is just outstanding, with all of the extra touches we were hoping for. The level of attention to detail is perfect. The staff were very accommodating, intact the manager Michaela checked us in and walked us to our suite, through the poring rain, she could have just directed us but took us in person, This was a very nice touch and epitomises the level of service and quality displayed at the hotel. we had breakfast in our room on both mornings, this was always prompt and piping hot, just wonderful. An excellent stay we will be back
I visited Bowness with my boyfriend on 30th December for a night away at The Cranleigh Boutique staying in ‘The Escape Suite’ and it didn’t disappoint! We booked as a last-minute trip away before the end of the year.
The staff were lovely at Reception on arrival and made us both feel very welcome (plus it was Covid-19 secure!).
We were shown to our suite which was at the rear of the building but it was ideal as we could park right outside.
The suite had a lovely/large lounge area and then you walked through into the bedroom. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in with the most gorgeous furniture and mood lighting! Both TV’s had freeview with Netflix too.
The bathroom was gorgeous and had a his/her shower and a spa bath which was perfect after coming in from the cold weather.
Thank you so much for a lovely stay, we couldn’t fault it. We really hope we can visit again soon!
We stayed at the Cranleigh for 1 night at the beginning of December in the Escape Suite. I must say it was a very impressive room! The room is ideal for isolating during the pandemic as you are detached from the main part of the hotel and breakfast is brought to your room in the morning – which is delicious!! Netflix / Amazon Prime and WiFi all included if you fancy a night in. The location is excellent too – 2 minutes walk from the leisure facilities and 5 minutes walk down to Windermere. The staff were great – brought ice to our room and all were friendly and helpful throughout. All in all an amazing stay, we look forward to returning again soon.
