Set in the heart of Coniston Village, The Ruskin Museum tells the fascinating ‘Story of Coniston’ and the many heroes that have lived and worked there. The Ruskin Museum is a small local museum in Coniston, Cumbria, established in 1901 by W. G. Collingwood, an artist and antiquarian who had worked as secretary to art critic John Ruskin.
