  1. What time is check-in and check-out?
    Check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 11am.
  2. Do you have spa facilities?
    Offsite Spa access passes are available to purchase for £17.50 per person, per day. The facilities which are located at Lakes Hotel & Spa, are a two-minute walk from The Cranleigh hotel, and 5 minutes from The Church Suites. Guests staying at The Hideout may wish to drive.   3. Is it possible to have an early check-in and/or a late check-out?
    We cannot guarantee early check-in times, however, if you arrive early you may leave your car and luggage at the hotel. The reception will then contact you as soon as your room is ready. We do not allow late check-out times.
  4. Are there gluten free options for breakfast?
    We would advise you to let The Cranleigh team know if you do not eat gluten, however, we do stock gluten-free bread and cereals on-site. Feel free to bring any special dietary products from home.
  5. Is there parking?
    We offer thirteen on-site parking spaces and ten off-site. The Hideout House has its own parking space.
  6. Are children allowed at The Cranleigh
    No-one under the age of 18 can stay at The Cranleigh Boutique.
  7. Can you recommend places for evening meals and should booking be made in advance?
    We can send a list of recommended restaurant to guests before their stay. We also recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
  8. Is there bike storage?
    We can provide storage for up to two bikes at any one time.
  9. Can you recommend what to do in the local area?
    Lake cruises, walking/hiking, bike hire and Go Ape.
  10. What is the nearest train station to The Cranleigh?
    Windermere train station is the closest (approximately 1.8 miles from the Cranleigh Hotel)
  11. Is it possible to order/eat takeaway food in the rooms?
    We do not permit takeaway food in any of our hotel rooms or Church Suites. Takeaway food can be consumed in our Hideout House.
  12. Is there a bar at the hotel?
    We do not have an on-site bar at The Cranleigh, but you can purchase drinks to your bedroom, or to the lounge by a member of the reception team. We do have a Champagne Bar in the town centre.
  13. Are more than two people allowed to sleep in the rooms?
    All rooms, suites and houses accommodate for a maximum of two people. Extra beds cannot be provided.
  14. Do you accept group bookings?
    The Cranleigh is not suitable for large group bookings, however, we can take bookings for three or four rooms.
  15. Can we have a complimentary upgrade?
    We cannot offer complimentary upgrades but upgrades at a discount may be available on the day.
  16. Do you accommodate pets?
    The Cranleigh has a strict no pet policy.
  17. Is it possible to reserve a car parking space?
    We can only reserve car parking spaces for blue badge holders.
  18. Is breakfast before 8.30am possible?
    Although our breakfast starts at 8.30am we can serve a continental breakfast at an earlier time. If you wish for an early breakfast, please let us know at the time of booking.
  19. Do you sell gift vouchers?
    Gift vouchers are available to purchase. Please contact reception for more information.
  20. Do you have a wedding license?
    Unfortunately, we do not have a license for weddings.
  21. If I have an emergency and need help from your team, how do I call?
    If you have an emergency that requires your help, please call us on our landline from your mobile. After 11pm, all calls will be diverted to our security team.
  22. I am staying more than 1 night but my room hasn’t been cleaned on the second morning. Why?
    If you are staying more than 1 night, we are happy to clean your room for you again on the following mornings. However, you will need to request this with our reception team.
