The Utopia is located on the ground floor of our Church Suite residence. On arrival to our suites, you’ll find our suites are tucked quietly in the heart of Bowness on Windermere. They’re also located just a minute’s walk from Bowness Bay and stunning & picturesque views of Lake Windermere.
Our Church Suite guests also receive complimentary car parking, just a couple of minute’s walk at our main hotel building.

“Where do we even start… We stayed in one of the Church Suites, the Opulence Suite. From check-in to check out we had a WONDERFUL experience. The room was spotless, minibar well stocked, staff at reception really nice and friendly. The room is a 2-minute walk from the lake and all restaurants and cafes. The room was beyond our expectations! We thought the pictures online were just well taken and the room might have been a little bit less beautiful than reality… we were VERY wrong, the room is even better than we could possibly imagine! Respond to The Opulence Suite
This is the 2nd time we have stayed in the opulence suite and again amazing!! Room was just amazing could ask for anymore! Super sized bed, jacuzzi bath and complimentary mini bar which needless to say we drank the lot! Would defo recommend anyone visiting Windermere this is the ideal couples retreat!
I stayed here with my boyfriend for my 25th birthday. We stayed in the opulence suite.
Upon arrival we entered the reception to be greeted by the lovely, smiling receptionist who checked up in and explained to us how the room worked.
After checking in we walked about 2 mins down the road to find the church suites. Lovely central location close to the Lake.
We entered our room and the beauty of it took my breath away. My friend had contacted the hotel and had a bottle of prosecco on ice for us. And a card.
I loved the little touches of the complimentary mini bar and snacks. The super king sized bed was comfy, and the under floor heating was amazing.
Into the bathroom. The big jacuzzi bath was lovely. My boyfriend absolutely loved it. Sadly I couldn’t use it due to my arm being in bandages. The shower was lovely and hot and we loved the fluffy bath robes that were available for us to use.
Over all I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanted a mini get away. We are already planning our return to check out the other suites.

Booked and visited for my fellas surprise 40th birthday treat! After reading fab reviews and looking at the pics I was sooo excited to get the dates I needed! We weren’t disappointed, from our arrival till we had to sadly leave. We were greeted with a warm welcome and the indulgence suite didn’t disappoint with the hot tub bath and well-stocked mini bar and everything we needed for a marvellous stay! TV in all rooms, mood lighting and films on tap! We didn’t need to leave the room but with a central location, everything was on the doorstep! Can’t wait to book and go back.
