Windermere Lake Cruises

It’s most commonly said that the best and most romantic way to see the Windermere and it’s surrounding towns or villages is by setting sail on one of the many boat and cruise tours. Step aboard from Bowness Bay (just a short walk away from our accommodation) and explore the Lake District’s most popular attraction at your leisure.

A spectacular voyage on a Lake Windermere cruise gives all travellers magnificent views of mountain scenery, secluded bays, wooded islands and wildlife, with the added bonus of being able to step off-board to enjoy one of the Windermere’s surrounding villages such as Ambleside, Lakeside and Bowness.

At over 11 miles long, Lake Windermere is the Lake District’s and England’s largest lake and offers all those who sail across it a plethora of beauty, no matter where you start your journey.
