“Stylish & comfortable”
“I don’t know where to start for this hotel everything about it was perfect. Starting with the open fire as you walk in, what a lovely welcome. The fabulous receptionist was warm, friendly and very welcoming even offering to take our bag up to the room! She showed us to our room spectacular room (no 7). The room had lots of lovely little touches like beautiful smelling body wash, shampoo etc, chocolate truffles on the bed, pillow spray, low lighting and underfloor heating in the bathroom and large bathrobes. The location is perfect just a couple of mins from nice bars and plenty of restaurants. Breakfast in the morning was beautiful and what a choice you had. This place is a must-visit.”

“Clean, great location, very reasonably priced for what you get, friendly, professional, comfortable and special. On check-in the reception was welcoming and swift, we were shown to our room and left to settle in. We stayed in room 7 which is perfect for a one night stay. Without being over the top, the room was stylish and comfortable with a splash of luxury. We ate close by at Baha which was superb and only a two-minute walk. Breakfast was excellent with attentive and friendly hosts.”

“Gorgeous touches”
“Myself and my boyfriend visited the Cranleigh this weekend after hearing brill things about it and we were not disappointed. When we arrived the staff on reception were lovely and very warm and welcoming, We stayed in superior room 7 and fell in love with its cosy feel – mood lighting, pretty decor and very luxurious feeling with gorge little touches like the little coasters, choccies and housewater (its the little things) we settled in straight away. The bathroom was amazing with spa bath and tv. Breakfast was brilliant too with a great selection to chose from. Overall I would highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel to anyone wanting to visit Bowness on Windermere and will certainly be telling anyone who will listen to give the Cranleigh a visit. We will 100% be back very soon ”

We arrived early to which it was no problem for us to leave our car on site to go on a lake cruise before we checked in. On check in the reception was welcoming and swift, we were shown to our room and left to settle in.
We stayed in room 7 which is perfect for a one night stay. Without being over the top, the room was stylish and comfortable with a splash of luxury. We ate close by at Baha which was superb and only a two minute walk. Breakfast was excellent with attentive and friendly hosts.
Check out was fast and they allowed us to leave our car on site while we spent some time in the town.

We booked with the Wintermacy offer and were greeted with Champagne on arrival in our room and this included afternoon tea for 2 at the Fizzy Tarté.. which is a brilliant little offer. The bathroom was amazing with a spa bath and tv. Breakfast was brilliant too with a great selection to chose from. Overall I would highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel to anyone wanting to visit Bowness on Windermere and will certainly be telling anyone who will listen to give the Cranleigh a visit.
