Often overshadowed by Halloween and Christmas, Bonfire Night is undoubtedly one of the best and most under-rated celebrations in the British calendar. What’s not to love? This is a truly traditional bonfire night which is a favourite amongst locals and visitors alike. On top of a BBQ, visitors can expect toffee apples, flowing beer, sparklers, cinder toffee, a roaring bonfire, and of course, a fabulous firework display.
Sedbergh Bonfire & Fireworks Display

The annual bonfire and fireworks display in Sedbergh takes place on the People’s Hall playing field. There will be lots going on throughout the evening in addition to the bonfire and firework display, including a pumpkin lantern competition, fibre optics, night games and tombola. There will also be burgers, soup, cakes, pastries and mulled wine, with tea and coffee available.
