Hello!
I’ve had a nice change of scenery today as
I’ve spent the afternoon at our offsite cocktail bar, The Fizzy Tarté!
I’ve spent most of the day helping the team greet customers and serving up
afternoon tea’s for our lovely Winter guests.
I even saw a few Cranleigh guest’s using their 10% discount!
I also had an unexpected visit from Mrs Huggie.
She may or may not (she definitely did) have turned up and asked
if I could sneak her some cake, of course the answer was no…
She may have got slightly upset in front of the customers,
and whipped out her fluttering ‘bear cub eyes’
so I promised her (emotionally blackmailed into) a hot chocolate after my shift
at Lake View Garden Bar next week.
Back to my shift…
All in all, our customers all seemed to be
LOVING their Afternoon Teas!

(Don’t tell Mrs Huggie but I sampled a cake or two after she left!)
Watch out next week where I’ll be getting stuck in
at a bar best known for it’s stunning views of Lake Windermere!
